The new Law on Audiovisual Services must meet European standards and treat interests of all market players on equal basis

The International Conference “Legislation on audiovisual services: European standards and Ukrainian perspectives” took place on 20 March. During the conference the new legislative initiatives in the area of broadcasting were discussed. The event was organized by the Project “Freedom of the media in Ukraine” supported by the Programmatic Cooperation Framework of the EU and the Council of Europe for the Eastern Partnership countries.
